About Zebra DNA Cloud

Zebra DNA Cloud 3.9

What's new in Zebra DNA Cloud 3.9

Overview

Zebra DNA Cloud (ZDNA) is an administrative solution for managing and configuring Zebra devices and apps. Like a cloud-based version of Zebra StageNow, ZDNA also performs licensing and other administrative tasks, and will eventually do much more. Also like StageNow, ZDNA leverages the power of Zebra's Mobility Extensions (MX), is controlled through a simple, intuitive UI, and can stand alone or work with a company's existing Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) system.

New in ZDNA 3.9

  • Introduces Enterprise Keyboard Design Studio, the first in a series of Design Studio components for customizing Zebra apps from within DNA Cloud: image Click image to enlarge; ESC to exit.
  • Implements “company friendly” portal identification:
    • A new drop-down menu on the right-hand side of ZDNA Cloud is visible to tenant owners and administrative users, and enables easy access to the company name associated with their server. This allows quick reference when reporting issues to a support team.
    • The 8-digit alphanumeric ID is unique to each tenant and is mapped to the organization’s Company ID in the ZDNA database.
  • The “Replace Battery” status indicator has been removed, addressing a reporting discrepancy between devices and the ZDNA portal.
  • Enterprise Home Screen 6.2.10 added to the Zebra Collection.
