About Power Input Configurator

Power Input Configurator 1.4

Overview

Zebra Power Input Configurator (zPIC) enables the creation of customized power configuration files for deployment to supported Zebra devices, including the KC50 Kiosk Computer and ZEC500 "wireless docking" station*. zPIC configuration files override the power usage settings embedded within the device, allowing power consumption to be fine-tuned for the intended use case. This can be particularly useful for organizations employing Power over Ethernet (PoE), which sets strict limits on the power consumed by connected devices.

* Power configuration via zPIC is suported only on "premium" device SKUs. See Zebra Support Portal for the list of supported devices.
