Overview

Green Mode Manager (GreenModeMgr) allows devices to be configured to help minimize power consumption. This is done by scheduling power to be supplied to the parts of the device that use the most energy only when those parts are expected to be active.

Main Functionality

  • Set schedules for supplying power to:
    • WLAN (Wi-Fi) radio
    • WWAN (cellular) radio
  • Turn off display while device is charging

This CSP is NOT supported on SDM660-platform devices.


WLAN Schedule Turn On/Turn Off

Controls whether the Wi-Fi (WLAN) radio is turned on and off according to the schedule set using the WLAN Start Time and WLAN End Time parameters.

Note: Not supported on SDM660-platform devices.

Parm Name: WlanScheduleState

1 Turn On Activates the Wi-Fi radio according to the specified schedule.

WLAN Start Time

Used to set the time (in 24-hour format) to activate the Wi-Fi (WLAN) radio.

Parm value input rules:

  • Time in 24-hour format HH:MM:SS
    Entry must be EXACTLY 8 characters.

Note: Not supported on SDM660-platform devices.

Shown if: WLAN Schedule State is "Turn On"

WLAN End Time

Used to set the time (in 24-hour format) to deactivate the Wi-Fi (WLAN) radio.

Screen While Charging Turn On/Turn Off

Controls whether the device display is forced to turn off while the device is charging.

Note: Not supported on SDM660-platform devices.
