Overview

The Gs1dataBar META Tag is used to enable or disable the gs1dataBar decoder.

Syntax

gs1dataBar (META Tag) <META> Syntax

<META HTTP-Equiv="scanner" content="gs1dataBar:[parameter]">

gs1dataBar JavaScript Object Syntax:
By default the JavaScript Object 'scanner' will exist on the current page and can be used to interact directly with the gs1dataBar.
To Set gs1dataBar parameters via JavaScript use the following syntax: scanner.Parameter = Value;

e.g. scanner.gs1dataBar = Value;

Remarks

Legacy

The gs1dataBar decoder was previously known as rss14. Code written for the rss14 decoder will be compatible with the new naming convention.

RhoElements Version2.1 or above
Supported DevicesAll supported devices.
Minimum RequirementsScanner or Imager module and device that supports gs1dataBar.
PersistenceTransient - Decoder settings are only guaranteed to persist until the Scanner is disabled
